Grievance redressal

If something goes wrong, here is exactly where to take it.

You are entitled to a clear escalation path, and it should not be buried. This page sets out all three levels, including the two that are not us.

1

Raise it with us first. Email or call using the details above. We aim to acknowledge within 1 working day and respond within 3.

2

If it concerns a scheme — a transaction, a statement, a redemption — you can raise it directly with the AMC that runs that scheme. Every AMC publishes an investor grievance contact on its website and in the scheme documents. You do not need our involvement.

3

If it is still unresolved, file on SEBI's SCORES platform at scores.sebi.gov.in. The intermediary then has 21 calendar days to respond. If you are not satisfied with that response, you have 15 days to click Review, which escalates it to AMFI and then to SEBI.

4

If SCORES does not resolve it, SEBI's Smart ODR platform at smartodr.in offers conciliation, mediation and binding arbitration. Filing fees range from ₹100 to ₹1,000 and are refunded to the party that prevails.

Level 1 — us

Email catalystfinedge@gmail.com or call +91 99253 90591. Please include your name, your registered mobile number, and the folio or scheme concerned, so we can look it up without going back and forth.

We aim to acknowledge within 1 working day and respond substantively within 3 working days.

Level 2 — the asset management company

If your complaint concerns a scheme — a transaction, a statement, a redemption — it can be raised directly with the AMC that runs that scheme. Every AMC publishes an investor grievance contact on its own website and in the scheme documents. You do not need our permission or involvement to contact them.

Level 3 — SEBI, through SCORES

File at https://scores.sebi.gov.in. The intermediary then has 21 calendar days to respond with an Action Taken Report.

If you are not satisfied with that response you have 15 days to click Review, which escalates it to AMFI and then to SEBI. Missing that 15-day window closes the complaint automatically, so it is worth putting a reminder in your calendar when you file.

Complaints about a mutual fund distributor specifically may also be raised with AMFI.

Level 4 — Smart ODR

If SCORES does not resolve it, SEBI's online dispute resolution platform at https://smartodr.in offers conciliation, mediation and then binding arbitration. An arbitral award is enforceable as a civil court decree.

Filing fees range from ₹100 to ₹1,000 depending on the amount in dispute, and are refunded to the party that prevails.
